300 Enterprises Take Part in 7 Batches of 3 Series of Promotion Events in Xicheng District
During this year’s Spring Festival, Xicheng District has held 7 batches of 3 series of promotion events to give discounts and send best wishes to consumers.
The "Consumption in Xicheng" Wechat public account has held a series of consumption activities with the theme of "happy Beijing-style Spring Festival". The event will last until February 28. So far, more than 300 enterprises have taken part in it.
During the Spring Festival, major shops and supermarkets in Xicheng District guaranteed the supply of goods and provided consumers with various kinds of discounts.
As Chinese cultural elements are popular with the consumers in recent years, cultural innovation products with themes of traditional Chinese culture were unveiled during the holidays.
The Baitasi Pharmacy, Shunhetang Traditional Chinese Massage House, Maliandao Tea Town and more than 100 tea businesses launched Spring Festival packages, and cooperated with the "Consumption in Xicheng" platform to give discounts.
Xicheng District’s hot restaurants provided special Chinese New Year’s Eve dinners for consumers. And many time-honored restaurants launched semi-finished dish boxes. In addition, many catering businesses provided Beijing-style dishes, semi-finished dishes, new-style snacks, Spring Festival dishes for one person, and offered dine-in and delivery services.
To better prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses and organizations prepared both offline and online experience activities for consumers during this year’s Spring Festival. For example, Xicheng District Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center held an interaction activity themed with Beijing Children’s Rhymes on Douyin, and organized inheritors of intangible cultural heritage to teach how to make time-honored delicacies. Moreover, citizens can visit the online Changdian Temple Fair.
The "Consumption in Xicheng" platform also organized shops and supermarkets to give 100-yuan vouchers to nearly 30000 people who choose to work in Beijing during the Spring Festival instead of returning to their hometowns, including construction workers, delivery men, sanitation workers, and life service workers.
