National Center for the Performing Arts Holds Summer Arts Activities
The National Center for the Performing Arts holds summer arts activities in its public space in August. The colorful theme activities are targeted at ordinary people, especially the youth.
Artists, including professors from the Central Conservatory of Music, the principal dancer of the National Ballet of China, the principal Huadan performer of the Northern Kunqu Opera Theatre, the principal percussionist of the Orchestra of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, winners of international music competitions, outstanding teachers from art schools, and winners of international awards, are invited to give the audience wonderful art performances.
The summer arts activities in public space last for four weeks from August 8, and performances are staged every Saturday and Sunday from 14:00 to 14:50 in the public space of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, the reporter learned from its official website. The performances include Chinese and Western instrumental solo and ensemble, dance, Chinese opera, etc. Harpsichord and portable pipe organ will make their debut.
