Introduction: Located in Beihai Park, the Fangshan Restaurant is a time-honoured outlet famous at home and abroad for its imperial dishes served in one of the capital’s most beautiful scenic spots. It has a history of more than 80 years. Its name stems from its reproduction of the pastries and dishes of the imperial kitchens of the Qing Dynasty. The restaurant is decorated with patterns of dragon and phoenix as its theme, while its curtains, tableclothes, napkins, and chair coverings are all bright yellow. Its tableware also uses porcelain or silverware with the style of Qing Dynasty.
