No. 5 Qian’gan Hutong
Built during the Ming Dynasty, No. 5 Qian’gan Hutong is among the very few traditional Beijing courtyards that survive today. Some of its most visible features include the ancient stone statues, main entrance of several hundred years old, seven-step stairs, four gate rings, winding corridors, and replica Ming and Qing furniture. It was home to Qi Changqing, the late Chinese biologist and initiator of bio-medical products.
