Job Recruitment in Xicheng District Goes Online amid Coronavirus Epidemic
Xicheng District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau launched online job recruitment services recently, in order to better prevent the novel coronavirus and avoid mass gatherings. It has required citizen service centers of all sub-districts of Xicheng District to optimize the steps of examination and approval, streamline application materials, and offer non-contact services. Meanwhile, the bureau has visited enterprises in its jurisdiction, conducted surveys on people who have difficulties in finding jobs and families whose members are all unemployed, as well as organized public employment service agencies to further collect job information and release recruitment information.
Under the guidance of Xicheng District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, all sub-districts of Xicheng District releases information on online job fairs, timely updates job recruitment information and resumes of job seekers, as well as provides employment guidance and position recommendation services via local applications, WeChat public accounts, WeChat groups, QQ groups and other online methods.
Up to now, Xicheng District's public employment service agencies have visited or called 235 people who have difficulties in finding jobs and families whose members are all unemployed, organized 15 recruiting activities, and released 6424 pieces of recruitment information. They have helped 264 people find jobs, helped 460 people enjoy favorable policy, and promoted 8 enterprises to recruit people with difficulties in finding jobs and help the enterprises enjoy support policies.
To provide services for graduates, Xicheng District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has collected job information as much as possible, and released information related to the "2020 Beijing Graduates Spring Online Recruitment Month" on the WeChat public account. So far, it has organized and approved 24 companies to participate in this year's online job fair for graduates, providing 921 positions of 140 types of work.
Xicheng District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will continue to maintain close contact with major enterprises, further help enterprises recruit, and strengthen skill training of jobs with labor shortage.
