Beijing Books Building has taken various measures online and in the store to meet the needs of readers amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Beijing Books Building has taken various measures to prevent and control the epidemic and create a safe reading space for readers since the outbreak of the epidemic, a relevant person in charge of the bookstore said. Nearly 100 kinds of books on the epidemic prevention and control as well as health care are placed in the most eye-catching area on the first floor, helping readers to know the epidemic correctly and improve their self-protection ability. In order to meet the needs of student readers for buying textbooks and reference books, the bookstore has placed those books in the easily-seen areas and near the checkout counter on the first floor, so as to reduce the time of readers for finding books around the store.

In the critical period of the epidemic prevention and control, readers can not only go to the bookstore to buy books in a safe environment, but also visit the store’s official website and online store for mobile phones, or call its hotline to buy books.

In order to relieve the public panic about the pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus, Beijing Books Building has also recommended books about the epidemic prevention and control in its WeChat public account.
