Chinese Flowering Crab Apples Bloom at Taoranting Park
As the temperature rises rapidly, the Chinese flowering crab apples at the Taoranting Park start to bloom. The 5th "Chinese Flowering Crab Apple Blossoms Cultural Event" attracts many tourists to enjoy the flowers.
This year’s cultural event takes the Chinese flowering crab apple trees planted in the ground as the main landscape, with a combination of fine bonsai and colorful cultural activities, to fully explain the meaning of spring. The park displays more than 300 pots of fine bonsai, covering 18 species of flowers, and also places potted shrubs such as Hall crab apple, magnolia, and cherry blossoms, as well as forsythia featuring bright color and novel shapes.
During the cultural event, the park will also organize popular science promotion activities. In the "Popular Science Cottage", visitors can learn about the plant knowledge of Chinese flowering crab apple, its species in the park, the points of identifying spring flower plants and the birds usually seen in the park. In addition, the park also places display boards about popular science knowledge of Chinese flowering crab apple and themed poetry.
In the green plants and flowers market in the central square of the park, visitors can buy small green plants that are easy to grow and suitable for being put indoors, such as Chinese flowering crab apple bonsai and succulents. In addition, visitors can also buy cultural innovation products with various characteristics in the cultural innovation store near the south gate of the park, bringing the spring gifts home.
