Xicheng District promotes time-honored brands to enter community market and innovate by implementing the "Plan for Time-honored Catering Brands’ Protection, Revitalization and Development", holding Chinese time-honored brands fashion and innovation contest, increasing funds for the development of time-honored brands, etc. Makai Restaurant, Guotai Photo Studio, Eryouju Restaurant and other time-honored brands have re-opened in Xicheng District. Time-honored brands keep innovating. For example, Beijing Huatian Catering Group Co. and Alibaba’s Tmall Supermarket jointly opened 5 new retail convenience stores. Qingfeng Baozi Restaurant opened an unmanned smart restaurant in Hebei Xiong’an Citizen Service Center. Chengwenhou’s newly-opened store maintains its traditional features and adds new cultural innovative products. Yili Bread launches community convenience store selling vegetables. Neiliansheng Shoe Shop launches online-star shoes and "flash shop", cooperates with cross-border e-commerce platform to sell its shoes, and constantly expands chain business in communities, which expand wider consumer groups.
