The bakery moved from Jiangsu Province to Beijing in 1916. The history of Guixiangcun could be traced back to the middle of the Qing Dynasty. It’s alleged that the bakery offered pastry to Emperor Qianlong when he toured in southern China. Over the past century, the bakery has built its fame in Beijing with its careful selection of raw materials and rigorous pastry making techiniques.
