2018 Beijing Maliandao Int’l Tea Culture Expo to Open

2018 Beijing International Tea Expo, 2018 Beijing Maliandao International Tea Culture Expo and 2018 Wuzhou Liubao Tea Culture Festival will be jointly held at the Beijing Exhibition Center and the Maliandao Tea Street from June 22 to 25, the reporter learned from the press conference on June 12. The world’s top tea products will be brought to the event, offering a grand tea feast to Beijing citizens.

There are 900 exhibition stands in the 25000-square-meter exhibition area of the Beijing Exhibition Center, divided into Maliandao exhibition area, Wuzhou Liubao Tea exhibition area, Fuding City, Fujian Province exhibition area, Huangshan City, Anhui Province exhibition area, Tongren City, Guizhou Province exhibition area, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province exhibition area, national top 100 tea enterprises exhibition area, major tea-producing counties exhibition area, Taiwan tea exhibition area, international tea exhibition area, tea sets exhibition area and other themed exhibition areas. The exhibition covers the entire industry chain of the tea industry, displaying a wide variety of tea products. The event is expected to attract more than 300 enterprises to attend, 90% of which are first-class brand enterprises. The organizer has also invited governments of major tea-producing places in China and over 10 countries such as India and Sri Lanka to participate in the exhibition.

The 533-square-meter Maliandao exhibition area is a tea culture-themed brand tea display area, where pictures and words, lighting, videos, tea products, and tea ceremony are used to show outstanding tea brands, in order to further expand the brand influence of the Maliandao Tea Street as "China No.1 Tea Street", and to attract more consumers to experience the culture of Maliandao and slow down to enjoy life.

This year’s guest city of honor is Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, so a highlight of this year’s exhibition is to display the culture of the city’s "maritime road of tea boats", which was an important part of the ancient Maritime Silk Road. During the Expo, Wuzhou City will hold more than 10 theme events, such as a cross-border summit on tea culture cum the seminar on the history and culture of the "maritime road of tea boats", to fully display the special features of the "maritime road of tea boats", and the unique flavor of the Wuzhou Liubao Tea.
